Good morning everyone,
To follow up the discussion we had at the training yesterday-
• Enrollment Specialists will begin requesting that parents bring the IEP/IFSP to the face to face interview, if applicable.
• If a parent provides us with a copy of the IEP/IFSP at the time of application or face to face interview, enrollment staff would place child on the wait list and select the application status option: Complete & Verified, with verified disability. They would then scan and attach the IEP to the disability tab.
• If they do not provide documentation, but state that their child has an IEP/IFSP, we would like to add an application status option: Complete &Verified, pending disability verification and add wait list status. This would indicate that the parent has reported that the child has an IEP/IFSP and has agreed to provide us with a copy and/or completed a 3rd Party Release for the EI/IU to release the child’s records.
Please feel free to share any questions or comments. -Natalia
